I first heard of the Bayesian babies concepts on my Alison Gopnik podcast.
When babies explore they follow whatever catches their attention. If something looks new or different, they follow it. If it continues to be interesting or rewarding, they stick with it. They don't overanalyze or hesitate, they go with the flow.
Adults are rigid structures and predefined paths. The Bayesian mindset, much like a baby's learning process, is about staying open and following what works, then adjusting.
