I don't care this or that. I care about my family. I care about my friends. I care about my projects.
Do I care about a troll?
No.
Do I care about distant acquaintances who demand my attention but add nothing to my life?
No.
We live in a transactional world. We do things for one another, we give, we take, we exchange. But if you try to care about everything and everyone, you'll burn yourself out.
I don't care is a form of self-preservation. I don't care is a boundary. I don't care is a way to stay sane in a chaotic world.
