Many have a stack of "what ifs" taller than their excuses. Audacity isn't a fancy word for the bookshelf, it's a kick in the teeth if you're coasting.
The herd hates audacity, however. They'll call you reckless, arrogant or nuts. Good. Let 'em squirm. They're mad you're not stuck in their prison. Audacity informs universe, "I'm here, and I'm apologizing."
